Applicable Laws & Policies
Nigeria does not yet have a gazetted Green Hydrogen Act. However, the Draft National Hydrogen Policy (2025) is undergoing final review and is expected to become the country's primary hydrogen-specific framework. Technical Standards
Until dedicated Nigerian hydrogen standards are introduced, projects are expected to comply with applicable international IEC, ISO, industrial safety, environmental, engineering, storage, transportation, and process safety standards.
